Welcome to Nursery where we work hard to explore and learn through play and fun and engaging experiences.  We grow and develop to become independent learners gaining new skills every day and follow our golden rules to become kind and caring members of the class.

Welcome to Nursery Booklet

Session Timings

Morning Nursery starts at 8.30am and finishes at  11.30am

If you have older children, please bring your child to Nursery FIRST then drop off older siblings.

Afternoon Nursery starts at 12.30pm and finishes at 3.30pm

Please keep older brothers and sisters away from the class doors at the end of the day as this is a really busy time. If you have a child at the Junior school, please collect your Nursery child before you go to the Juniors. Thank you.

Spare Clothes

Please ensure your child has a drawstring changing bag (not a rucksack), with a spare set of clothes including underwear and socks.  If your child comes home in our nursery clothes, please wash these and return them to us as soon as possible.

Snack Time

We have a snack time each morning and afternoon. Your child will be offered fruit every day. We will also offer your child milk and/or water to drink. Please inform us if your child has any dietary requirements or food allergies. Please DO NOT send in any juices, milkshakes etc. 

Reporting Absence

If your child is unwell, please call the school office as soon as possible to notify them on the first day of absence before 8.30am. If your child has been vomiting or had diarrhea, they must not come to school for 2 days (48 hours.) 

Tapestry

To record your child's learning we currently use Tapestry.  Please log on regularly to have a look at what your child has been learning at school.  For any questions or help with logging on, you can speak to your child's class teacher.
